Insubordiknit Spinning Workshop (part I)

Hey, if I'm already dividing a post into more than one part in the title, you know it's going to be good.

Under the expert instruction of Jacey, my weekend went a little something like this:

1. In the beginning, there were tables laden with roving. And Courtney saw this, and said, "Awesome!"

2. Then Jacey taught us how to spin super awesome stuff. This is just the beginning. I haven't photographed everything I spun this weekend yet.

to find out what I did with these batts and roving,
tune in next time!

3. And now for something completely different:

A tall glass of awesome
aka Clementine's Lime-Basil Elixir.

The food at Clementine = Awesome+1. Even this food snob was delighted. I'm only sad that I don't live closer. Of course, my waistline probably thanks me; if I lived closer, I'd probably just stay there and eat all day. But if you're anywhere within a half-hour's drive, it's totally worth it. The thick-cut bacon sandwich with asparagus, field greens, tomato and thick slices of white cheddar... magnificent.

Oooo, spinning with spangles and flowers and... oooo!

Dagnabit, I'm going to HAVE to learn to spin in the next year. There's too much pretty stuff to make out there!
